I've been a paddler all my life. Being
a native Arizonan, I've always
regarded water as a sacred substance. Life
exists on this planet because of water
and what better way to celebrate life than
to play in water. I go to the river
when I want an adventure with friends and
in times when I need solace. The
epic stories that the river tells echo
in the deep chambers of all our souls beckoning
us to return to add another chapter.
I'm a paddler for the thrill, the
beauty, and the camaraderie that this sport,
like no other, offers. I have truly
found a family of those who believe as
